ABOUT
Hi, I’m Rachael — your birth doula and steadfast support through one of life’s most transformative experiences.
As a mother of three — two daughters and one son — I know firsthand how powerful, emotional, and deeply personal birth can be. My family is stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA, and we enjoy a peaceful life on the outskirts of Pooler.
I like to describe myself as a “scrunchy mom” — a balance between holistic and modern parenting. I believe in natural, mindful living, knowing where our food comes from, and supporting the body’s innate wisdom… while also embracing the realities of modern motherhood (yes, sometimes screen time wins!).
My journey to becoming a doula began after the birth of my third child. I was supported by an incredible doula who became like family. Her presence, compassion, and unwavering advocacy changed my entire experience. She reminded me that birth is not just a medical event — it’s a profound, sacred moment that deserves respect and individualized care. That experience inspired me to do the same for others.
I believe that you know your body best — and that your birth should reflect your values, your instincts, and your vision. My role is to support you through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum with evidence-based information, emotional reassurance, and continuous presence. Whether you envision a natural home birth, a hospital delivery, or something in between, my goal is to help you feel informed, empowered, and at peace every step of the way.
It’s an honor to walk alongside families as they bring life into the world. Thank you for considering me to be part of your journey. 🤍
Proudly serving families throughout Coastal Georgia and the Lowcountry — from Beaufort, SC to Jesup, GA.
